Albemarle County Continues To Go Bananas for QuickStart!
PE teachers in Albemarle County attended their third in-service training session in less than two years, but they all were thrilled to be "on court" in the Monticello High School Gym. QuickStart never gets old! There's always something new to learn or try. Building on a terrific 2009/2010 school year with QuickStart in PE classes in 20 schools and nine after-school programs, the teachers are energized for the new school year and ready to take QuickStart to the next level with National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) chapters and intramural competition.
Staff Development Day -- August 2010
With a year's experience with QuickStart under their belts, the teachers were full of ideas and suggestions for each other. Collaboration was encouraged and "best practices" shared. While there was serious business conducted, the teachers still managed some "friendly" competition.
